Terms

1. General Provisions

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the use of the receipt.uz service ("Receipt", the "Service"). The Service is provided by Individual Enterprise "OTABEK HASANOV" (checkout.uz, the "Operator"), operating under the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as a supplementary service to the checkout.uz payment platform.

Registering for or using Receipt constitutes the User's unconditional agreement to these Terms and to the Operator's Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If the User does not agree with the Terms, they must not use the Service.

2. Definitions

  • Service (Receipt) — a supplementary service that lets a card be linked once, so future payments can be made without re-confirming an SMS code each time.
  • Operator — Individual Enterprise "OTABEK HASANOV", the developer and owner of the Service.
  • User — an individual registered with the Service.
  • Account — the User's personal account, accessed via email and a one-time code.
  • Wallet — a record of a bank card (Uzcard/Humo) linked by the User to the Service.
  • Store — a merchant or organization connected to the checkout.uz payment system where the User can pay using a Wallet.
  • Payment System — an organization licensed by the Central Bank, used to tokenize cards and process payments.

3. Description of the Service

The User links a card to the Service once — this requires confirmation via a one-time SMS code. The linked card can then be used to pay at any Store connected through checkout.uz, quickly and without entering an SMS code each time. The Service is not an independent payment system — it is a supplementary convenience for securely storing card data and speeding up checkout.

4. Registration and Account

Registration requires a first name, last name, email address, and phone number. The Service uses passwordless sign-in — on every login, the User enters a one-time code sent to their email. A User may link up to three email addresses to their Account.

The User is responsible for the accuracy and currency of the information provided at registration. Creating more than one Account per person is not recommended.

5. Linking and Using Cards

The User may only link cards that belong to them or that they are legally entitled to use. The full card number, expiry date, and CVV code are not stored on the Operator's servers — this data is tokenized by the licensed Payment System (converted into a secure, irreversible identifier). The Operator only stores the card type, the last 4 digits of the number, and (if provided) the cardholder's name — used to display the Wallet in the Wallets list.

The User may delete a Wallet, rename it, or re-verify it (via SMS) at any time.

6. Payments and Fees

The Operator does not charge the User a separate fee for storing a card or using a Wallet. The price of the purchased goods or service, and any related payment fee, are governed by the terms of the relevant Store and the checkout.uz payment platform's current pricing.

7. User Obligations

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes;
  • Link only cards that belong to them; not use another person's card without their consent;
  • Not share Account access credentials with third parties;
  • Immediately notify the Operator (support@checkout.uz) of any suspicious activity involving a card or Account;
  • Not engage in fraud, money laundering, or other unlawful transactions.

8. Operator's Rights and Obligations

The Operator strives to ensure uninterrupted operation of the Service but does not guarantee it — the Service is provided "as is." The Operator may temporarily restrict or disable a Wallet or Account when suspicious or unlawful activity is detected, and may change the Service's functionality with or without prior notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Operator is not liable for the actions of payment systems or Stores, nor for damages resulting from the User's device being insufficiently protected against malware. The User is solely responsible for the security of their device and Account credentials.

10. Account Deletion

The User may delete their Account at any time from the Settings section. Once an Account is deleted, all linked Wallets and personal data are deleted or anonymized within the timeframes required by applicable law, unless the law requires longer retention.

11. Changes to the Terms

The Operator may unilaterally amend these Terms. Changes take effect from the date they are published within the Service. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms are published constitutes acceptance of them.

12. Dispute Resolution

Disputes related to these Terms shall first be resolved through negotiation. If no agreement is reached, the dispute shall be resolved in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Termez Inter-District Civil Court.
